Drawing from the shoreline where she grew up, Heather finds beauty in the tideline of Skye—a treasure trove of unique objects discarded from the urban environment and shaped by the power of the Hebridean swell. Here, materials like rope, wood, and plastic take on a subtler identity as wind and wave continuously shape and reshape their form and color. Heather’s work reflects this dynamic interplay between nature and human influence, creating pieces that celebrate the elegance of the natural world.
